In the Author Dimension, fiction is power and the popularity of books dictates the rise and fall of the great and powerful, but Andre doesn’t write for power. Since President F. S. Doan stole his manuscript and with it his fantasy world Holissa, Andre’s life is empty and incomplete. All of that changes when Andre and F. S. Doan lock eyes, and for an instant, Andre feels the sticky heat of Polrha City and the Danishe sand between his toes, but most of all he feels them. All of them. Everyone who ever has and ever will live on Holissa. And he is determined to not lose them again.

Tarhalo lives on Holissa, on a Cursed island and dreams of the world beyond where the sky meets the sea. In a vision, Tarhalo sees a wave of destruction so he sets out to warn the king and save the kingdom. But Tarhalo’s good intentions wane as he comes face to face with the man who Cursed his island.

Andre’s passion for Holissa restored, he reaches across the Fourth Wall and hatches a multidimensional plan to regain creative control over Holissa by defaming F. S. Doan’s novels. He connects with Tarhalo and together, they carve a story through this fantastical kingdom exposing the secrets and villainy of its heroes.

President F. S. Doan and Andre clash in a battle of the books that takes Holissa and its inhabitants hostage and threatens to change the very fabric of reality both in Holissa and in the Author Dimension. With more than just his connection to Holissa on the line, Andre must decide how much revenge is worth.
